Hydrating My Pet Night Mouth Guard

The day before we are to leave for a trip to New York, I have appointments up the wazoo. My cell phone rings off the hook while I am at various appointments...the dentist, the orthopedist, and then at the gym while I am sweating my ass off with my trainer.

At the dentist, I was there to pick up my night mouth guard because I am grinding my teeth down as I sleep. So the instructions are to wear them each night and wash and keep them hydrated by leaving a moist paper towel or tissue in its case. If they dry out, they will crack. Hah! Just like a pet!

At the orthopedist, I find out that my left knee may have a torn ligament. This may require arthroscopic surgery. I am so bummed! I knew I had something off kilter, but never in my dreams imagined it would be something as serious as this!

I really need to take better care of myself. It is not beneficial to me or my family if I am going to be out of commission for a while. Ahhhh...and the packing I still have to do. Not to mention the loads of laundry. And the 5:30am wake up to catch a 7:30am flight. Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!
